Voice Recording
Use voice recording when it is easier to talk than type.
Start A Recording
- Open Recordings.
- Tap the microphone button.
- The recorder opens in idle state.
- Tap the main recorder control to start recording.
- Speak normally.
- Tap pause if you need a break.
- Tap resume to keep going.
- Tap stop when you are done.
The Recordings screen does not start recording by itself. You decide when recording begins.
If You Change Your Mind
Tap Discard to throw away the current recording.
Discarding resets the timer and returns the recorder to idle. Nothing is saved from that recording.

After You Stop
AIFor.ms saves the recording and starts transcription.
Next steps:
- Open the saved recording.
- Check the transcript.
- Create a conversion.
Tips
- You do not need a perfect script.
- It is okay to ramble.
- Speak at a natural pace.
- Move away from loud background noise when you can.
- If transcription fails, open the recording and use the retry button.
